It is human resource management in the Timex Ironman 30-lap waterproof? Can I use the pool?
I checked the manual, but all I can find for sure is that the watch is water resistant. I think that if for a Tri, human resource management should be waterproof, too, right???
It is considered water resistant, so it should work well for swimming on the surface of a pool (not good for diving). But do not expect the good reads heart rate while swimming. The transmission does not function well in water, and contact between the monitor and your body will be interrupted by water constanty flowing through it. It is usually better to measure perceived exertion swim on a scale of 1-10. When I do triathlons sometimes I put my strap human resources management under my wetsuit, so I do not have to put on when you leave the water. But I never get good readings on the swim itself.
