Healthy Heart Rate at rest
Check your heart rate (pulse) is an easy way to see whether or not you are physically fit and healthy. Want check your heart rate while you are resting. The best time to measure it is after a good night's sleep. Check it out while you're lying in bed in the morning. Make sure you are breathing normally.
How to monitor your heart rate is to count the beats in a given period of time as 15 to 20 seconds. Then multiply that number for the number of beats per minute.
The more fit you are, the lower resting heart rate will be. There is some debate about what exactly is a healthy resting heart rate. What most healthy for a man is between 60 and 75 beats per minute and for women should be between 60 and 80 beats per minute.
People who are very fit and active, like professional athletes, can have a resting heart rate as low as 30 beats per minute. Athletes, like to measure your heart rate to see if they are over trained.
There Many factors can affect the heart rhythm if it is slowing or accelerating. They include:
- Sex (men's rates are generally lower)
- Age
- Drugs / Medications
- Genetics
- Physical Fitness
- Anxiety and Stress
- Caffeine (can be accelerated)
- Nicotine
- Weight
- Work out before you measure your heart rate
- Common Cold / Fever
- Dehydration
- Anemia
- Thyroid overactive
- Eating Disorders
- Diabetes
These factors can affect heart rate, which means that its measure might not be completely accurate.
Although, measure your heart rate is not the only or best way to determine your health. Some people may have a lower heart rate or higher can not be attributed to a single cause and specific. Most say, however, that above a rate of 84 beats per minute can be dangerous to health.
A heart rate above 95 beats per minute for men or women would be considered fast, called tachycardia. A heart rate fast, is almost always heart disease because it can be caused by a number of things like the many factors mentioned above.
Measuring your heart rate recovery after exercise is another good way to see how healthy your heart is. Their recovery rate is how fast your heart "recovered" after you stop working out.
For example, if exercised on a bicycle for 10 minutes and then stopped, the recovery rate is the amount of your heart play slowed in the first minute of rest. The faster it slows down, the best condition of his heart is in.
If you are concerned the place where his resting heart rate is now talking to a doctor because almost all the reasons why you have a heart rate can be treated and reverse.
